What to Say After Stupid by David Froster

njourdan Posted by njourdan at 11:58 PM on October 30, 2008 Comments comments (0)

Greetings Leaders!

Here is a something I want to share with you.

Read and absorb and taked heed, ha!

Let's all make sure we are on the Lord's side standing with Him.

From David:

"Now we move to the sound of empathy, which is
expressed in the words, "I'm sorry I don't
tell you more."

One of the most interesting things about us human
beings is that we often know the right thing to do
but fail to do it.  We're incredibly
intelligent, smart, and capable of great
discoveries.  Yet at the same time we can wind up
in a place I call "Stupidville" almost without
notice.  Why does it work that way?  Why do
relationships come so hard?  And why is it
difficult sometimes to find the right words to say?

In order to help you understand that, let's take
a trip to Stupidville and see exactly how we get there:

First of all, love leads to expectations.  When
you love someone, the expectation that you have
for them is much higher than just a normal
acquaintance or someone you see on the street.  So
love raises expectations high.  The expectation of
attention and affection, doing the right thing,
saying the right thing, all come with the
commitment to love.

Number two, those high expectations always lead to
disappointment, which means we never really live
up to those expectations.

Next, disappointment leads to hurt.  Our feelings
are hurt that the one we love has not met all our expectations.

Hurt, covered up, leads to anger.   It doesn't
have to, but oftentimes, rather than dealing with
the hurt and confessing the unmet expectations so
that we can find healing, we often just cover it
up or hide it, saying it doesn't bother us. And
we bury our anger.

Anger leads to bitterness, which basically is an
inside brooding and constantly reliving the hurt
and the offense.

Bitterness leads to resentment.  Resentment is the
emotional energy that we stuff down inside of us
as we've nursed the wound, the hurt, the anger,
and the bitterness.  It has to come out somewhere.

Resentment leads to venting, which means that we
vent to the people who can do the least amount to
heal the hurt.

Venting leads to gossip, which means we talk about
the one that we love who has let us down.

Gossip leads to stupid, which means that we say a
lot of things that we don't mean.  We all end up
looking like losers.

And then stupid leads to sides.  We start dividing
up sides over who is right.

It is easy to see how we can ruin a good thing, if
we don't know what to say after stupid.

Next time, we will look at why "I'm sorry"
are often the hardest words to say."

God's best to you,

Let's Shift! Pause. Pray. Go!

njourdan Posted by njourdan at 08:33 AM on October 08, 2008 Comments comments (0)

Greetings Leaders!

It comes a time when we must know when to stand;
when to surrender; when to be bold; when to keep quiet;
when to be still; and when to pursue and recover all.

Every season comes with purpose. Every purpose has a
hidden lesson within. We must seek it out and grow.
Look for the precious seed - it's there.

All of us are given signs to know when things are about
to shift. We can choose either to ignore or embrace the signs.

Take a long hard ...deep look at your life. Measure it to
the Word of God that you know to be true. Locate you.

It is all about God...conforming to the image of Christ Jesus.
Train your heart to believe and receive God's Word. In every
Season of life...hear, trust and obey His voice. Pay attention to
details of kindness and good manners of love and acceptance.

"And God , my God, shall fill up the measure of all your need,
with an abundance limited only by His own riches, shall supply
it by His glorious presence in the person of Messiah Jesus."
Philippians 4:19 (Way)

When the winds of adversity comes to kill, steal or destroy;
expect change to come about within you. Remain submitted to God;
resist the devil and he must flee.

Expect God to honor His Word. Allow people to be themselves.

Take note of who can stay in your life; your circle of love.

And those that need to be given "The Gift of Let's Just Smile and Say Good-By!"

Now, breathe, ha! All is well. Go spit-shine that halo of yours, ha!

You are still needed. Remember the real you...yes!

You, the overcomer, in Him. (smile) You are loved.

Choose Love - Fear Not

njourdan Posted by njourdan at 10:25 AM on August 21, 2008 Comments comments (0)

Greetings Leaders!

Never ever again allow life's circumstances or what has happened to you:
(past or present), hinder or discredit who God has made you, In HIM.

No longer allow or tolerate fear and /or abuse:

Fear of people or anything the adversary may do or bring to you.

You matter! You count!  You are here to please God; not everyone else.

Your beginning is growth and development!

Your middle is training, ha!

It is your ending that brings everything into focus.

Here you realize and know exactly who you are, in Christ Jesus.

It is here you fully understand what you are made of, ha! Glory!

Had you not gone through what you had to go through; it would not be you!

Your set of circumstances are based on your destiny, In Him!

Before 'life' happened; you were on your way going somewhere.

You had a dream; a vision; a plan; an inspired idea....Something great!

Your imagination and faith were high; and standards set far above average.

Get back into the Word of God; begin to Speak Life! Allow Faith to COME!

IF you had a set of different parents; you would not be you, ha!

IF you had attended a different church; you would not have had to grow, ha!

You would have had no challenges to cause you to cry out to your God.

You are an ambassador for Christ: your assignment is unlike any other.

Note: there is Only One Moses! One Paul! One Peter!

Only One Ruth! One Esther! One Rahab!

Only One You! ...With God! You are more than enough, ha!

You are Good Enough! He makes you good enough. He validates you.

His Love replaces fear, torment, and abuse!

Receive it.

Now Go Forth!

Renew your mind.

Move by the Spirit in Faith and Love.

Risk everything on God's Word: You cannot fail!

?There is no fear in love;

but perfect love casts out fear,

because fear involves torment.  1 John 4:18

The Tongue

njourdan Posted by njourdan at 07:54 AM on July 25, 2008 Comments comments (0)

Greetings Leaders!

Words are powerful and they come true; for good and for evil.

A long time ago, I did not pay attention to my words or value them.

God has a lot to say about our tongue and our words.

Take inventory and ask your self:

"Does My Tongue Need Healing?"

Here is my old cheecklist: Hint. Hint, ha!

1. Excessive Words: Saying words all the time non-stop.

2. Idle or Careless Words: Saying words that do not glorify God.

3. Gossip Words: Saying slander or malicious words.

4. Lying Words: Saying words that stretch or tell untruths.

5. Flattery Words Saying words with hidden motives; not sincere.

6. Hasty Words: Saying words too quickly, before hearing details.

Note: If you find yourself saying the wrong things most
of the time...

Or saying what you really don't mean...

Or exaggerating or saying a "little" lie here and there...

Or simply "playing" someone to get your way...(manipulation)

You are in danger of becoming a "Talking Terminator!"

...Your tongue may need some serious Healing.

Trust me, I know. Been there; done that, ha!

Many (including me) have killed people with the tongue.

Is this you????

"Gasp!" ....now breathe, ha!

How many fingers? Count 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. OK, you are find.

Thank God for Jesus!

Here are a few guidelines that will help you remember,
once and for all, the power of words.

Read and write each for yourself. Be accountable for your words.

Let God and His Word help regulate your tongue:

Matthew: 12:36

Ecclesiastes: 5:1-2

Proverbs: 6:16-19

Proverbs: 10:19

Proverbs: 20:19

Proverbs: 26:28

Proverbs: 29:5 and

Proverbs: 29:20.

Remember, "Choose Love. It looks good on you."(tm)

We now have God's DNA.

We are empowered to love and speak good things.

Redeem the Time

njourdan Posted by njourdan at 09:07 AM on July 22, 2008 Comments comments (0)
Greetings Leaders!

Redeem the time. Know and do what is important.

Today, decide to "live" a stress-less life.

Get proper rest. Get some rest. Get any rest, ha!

Eat healthy. Exercise or dance. Laugh more.

Think good thoughts. Speak godly words.

Make a list at night while praying. Plan the next day.

List only the six most important things in priority.
Do those six things on your list.

Now, Live! Celebrate! Rest! Eat! Dance! ha!
Take time to rest properly now; choose to do it.
Or else, living, may be cut short, ha!

Ephesians 5:15-17 says it this way: (The Message Bible)

"11-16Don't waste your time on useless work,
mere busywork, the barren pursuits of darkness.
Expose these things for the sham they are.
It's a scandal when people waste their lives
on things they must do in the darkness where no one will see.
Rip the cover off those frauds and see how attractive
they look in the light of Christ.

Wake up from your sleep,  Climb out of your coffins;
Christ will show you the light!
So watch your step. Use your head.
Make the most of every chance you get.
These are desperate times!

17Don't live carelessly, unthinkingly. Make sure you understand what the Master wants."

Words Reveal the Heart
By Nikki Jourdan

Spoken softly whispered low
Reveals the heart where love does flow

Piercing thunder roaring loud
Reveals the heart too angry too proud

Stretching truths spreading lies
Reveals the heart that rarely apologize

Evasive answers shifty eyes
Reveals the heart in disguise

Slow to speak slow to wrath
Reveals the heart on a righteous path

Warm reminders wise insight
Reveals the heart full of light

Resume: Focus and Sow Love

njourdan Posted by njourdan at 07:46 AM on June 25, 2008 Comments comments (0)

Greetings Leaders!

Do you understand that it does not matter what the other person's
actions are towards you? That you are still accountable for obeying God's Word.

Let us resume and focus on what is truly important here: God.

We are called to Serve: the good, the bad and the most oftentimes, people that think, say and do what you and I....use to think , say and do, ha! ....Ouch!

Thank God for Jesus!

God has a keen sense of humor. He saves, heals and delivers for purpose. He then put you on the same  path to connect with folks much like you use to be, ha!

Resume and Focus and Sow the Love of God.

Yes, He wants all of us to grow up spiritually In Him and take responsibility for developing our personal lives based on godly principles found in the Word.

Think back to the last set of instructions [specific things given] by God for you. Take a look at the written plan (the vision) He has already given you.

It was at that time and at that place you left Your thoughts. Your words. Your habits. Your character. Your actions...and ultimately Your destiny.

It is our Obedience that draws the favor and presence of God. His presence and favor is His reward  for coming...for surrendering all...for seeking Him first.

He can then deal with others...while we resume our God-given assignments as Ambassadors for Christ in the earth.

"The one who is throwing you into confusion will pay the penalty, whoever he may be...." Galatians 5: 10. (NIV)

Therefore, resume and continue to apply the Word you know is right for you, not what you think others should be doing, ha! It will transform  you!  © 2008 by Nikki Jourdan

Thanking God for you and welcome your comments on this.

Deliverance and Children of Light

njourdan Posted by njourdan at 08:40 PM on June 17, 2008 Comments comments (0)

Greetings Leaders! Welcome to all our New and Old Subscribers (smile).

Thanking God for each of you daily.

Deliverance 101: Always Choose Life. Blessings. Love.

Have you ever wondered where demons live or how they gain access to a believer? They live within the mind! satan, devils and demons gain access to the mind and unless they are evicted; [cast out] they stay and multiply. This becomes a stronghold. Unless you and I are willing to fully change the way we think; evil spirits can and will continue to torment the mind with fear, control, doubt, unbelief, worry, hate, strife, anger, un-forgiveness, and unstable choices which lead to an unhappy life. Sometimes even after the evil spirits are long gone; if the mind is not being fed good lovely just and true things - it will self-destruct. It will begin to destroy itself and you with it.

How do you and I live as Children of Light?

The Word of God is the most powerful and awesome weapon against the entire kingdom of darkness. It gives the right combination of faith to each person; anytime and anywhere. The Word of God - The Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth is both The Person and The Principle. We cannot receive the Word and reject Jesus at the same time; no way. I challenge you to go through the New Testament - Those folks had no problem with knowing what was of God and what was of the devil. Only the religious pious self-righteous leaders of the day had a problem with Jesus and His disciples. The rest were grateful because they had been on the demons hit list, ha! And Jesus came along and took care of business! No demon dare puke all over Him; nor did any talk back or act as if they were not about to leave; but obeyed and took off in terror at His command! They knew Who was in Charge! They knew Who had Authority.

We have been given the name of Jesus and His Authority as well. Let us be mindful of daily deliverance as we work out our soul salvation, In Christ, with fear and trembling, ha! When you and I get so comfortable in doing the acts of ministry or business and let the little important things slip; we set ourselves up for self-destruction. We are here to "serve." All true leaders are servants, first. And do it as unto the Lord.

Being on Auto Pilot is dangerous! Being too busy or out of touch with what is truly important to God is just as as dangerous.

Do you know Who is in Charge of your life? Are you abiding in Him? Is He living within you? Are you a loving couple? Or is it that you are not on speaking terms with Him, ha!  Has your life come to the point where you just don't know anymore? I am talking about Jesus. Consider the Lord Jesus.  Because He is Lord, ha! Take a look at this verse:

"Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?"
Jeremiah 32:27KJV

Here are steps to help you and me get on tract or stay fresh: Ephesians 4:17-31

Step 1. Be renewed in the spirit of the mind with the Word of God. Read it.

Quote it, Meditate on it.  Begin to say what it says of and for you. Live it.

2. Either  invite Jesus into your heart or re-invite Him; be for real.

3. Daily to add Jesus into all that you do and say; ask to be

filled daily with the Holy Spirit [Holy Ghost and Fire].

4. Receive power and strength from God to live...truly live for Him; not just for you.

5. Get rid of guilt and toxic relationships: Cut it off from your life. We are responsible for taking a leap of faith forward in whatever God is doing.

6. Choose: Either you or the demons must leave. Light and darkness can't live together. You choose, ha!

7. Worship. Worship. Worship. Worship and pray. Live in God's freedom. It is a choice you make by faith.

Other Related Scriptures: John 1:1. John 1:4a. Romans 10:8. Romans 10:17. Ephesians 4:23. Colossians 3:10. Luke 4:36. Mark 16:17. 1 Peter 1:25a. Revelation 19:13b. Romans 10:13. Romans 8:1. Jeremiah 15:21. Isaiah 50:7. And  2 Corinthians 10:7.

Until next time,
